Shipping Charges
Customer is responsible for all the shipping charges on return items. All related fees (shipping and return shipping fees) are non-refundable for all items and service types.
We charge actual prices, from £15 to £25 depends on your location. Packages are insured up to £399.00 -
What are component level repairs?Component repairs are made to the motherboard of your laptop. We make component level repairs whenever possible, because this is a less expensive option for our customers, who generally prefer not to replace the motherboard and other costly parts. Keep in mind that you pay only for the parts!

What type of warranty do you offer on repairs?CP Doctor laptop and mobile phones repair services come with a six month warranty.

My battery will not charge, should I just get a replacement?If your battery will not charge, but your laptop will run on AC power, then yes you need to replace the battery.
If your laptop battery will not charge and the AC power adapter is not keeping your laptop up and running the problem is more than likely a bad power jack. We offer the best power jack replacement program in the industry!
Note: New models of Apple laptops does not work without the battery installed! -
Is there a difference between laptop and notebooks?Today the two terms are almost identical. However, notebooks tend to be much smaller and lighter than laptops.

Will I see a quote prior to repairs being made?We offer free estimates and complete quotes for all repairs. We NEVER make repairs until we receive permission from you! Within 24 hours of when your laptop arrives, a service technician will call or email you to discuss our findings and to give you a complete estimate of the charges.

What is your typical turn-around time?We try to post our diagnostic report via our repair status page and by email within 24 hours after receiving your laptop.
Once a repair is authorized we see a typical 48 hours completion and testing time on a repair.
If a part is required which is not in our vast in-house stock of parts, some delays are possible. -
How can I help to expedite the repair of my laptop?1. Be as specific as possible when creating a service request. Include as much information as possible so that our technicians know where to begin with the evaluation of your laptop.
2. Make sure that you are providing us with the best possible contact information, so that we are able to contact you in the event of a problem or to give you the results of our evaluation.

Do you offer a guarantee that you can fix my laptop?Our technicians are industry leaders, and are specially trained to repair all makes and models of laptops. But, there are going to be situations where we are unable to repair a laptop. This is why we offer a complete FREE evaluation and diagnosis of all problems as reported prior to beginning ANY repairs.

Would it be faster if I come to one of your stores?All our customers are equally important to us. As they come from across the UK, therefore we don’t give priority to local work ahead of other work. So while we would warmly welcome you, we would not give your work any preference as compared to other non-local customers.
However, you will pass the delivery times!
